UMmu for Bases
Installation Instructions

1. Required components
----------------------

To compile the sources of UMMUFB, you need:

* A Visual Studio version capable of reading VS9 solutions and projects
(Free C# and Managed C++ compilers may work as well, but no batch script or
similar compilation packages are provided other than VS9 solutions),

2. Installation
---------------

For a first-time installation only:

* Install the latest Orbiter release by unpacking the base package
(orbiter060929_base.zip) and the SDK package (orbiter060929_sdk.zip) in that
directory. Make sure to preserve the directory structure of the zip archives.

* Install this package into the Orbiter root directory with the directory-
preserving option of your favorite ZIP-tool enabled.

3. Testing the system
--------------------------

Start Orbiter and activate UMMUFB in the "Modules" tab. Start one of the preset
scenarios in /Scenarios/UMMUFB/ or create a UMmuBase vessel manually (e.g. via
ScnEditor). Currently only one UMmuBase vessel is supported.
Switch to your UMMU-enabled vessel, do as if you are about to dock (e.g. open
nose-cone, open airlock etc.) and select the PAX MFD-mode. In this mode you can
press the PAX button to enable/disable ground docking to the UMmuBase vessel.
Therefore, you are free to use your vessels default controls to initiate a EVA/
Transfer of UMMUs. They should be transfered to the UMmuBase vessel.

To return UMMUs to the vessel (or any other), again ensure PAX-mode is set and
"F3" to the UMmuBase vessel. There you can use the controls known from UMmuShuttlePB
to select and EVA/transfer an UMMU:
1..Select next UMMU
2..Select previous UMMU
S..Status
E..EVA/transfer UMMU
ESC..Eject UMMU
